Build Better Lessons with LEGO®
LEGO bricks do more than entertain. They strengthen fine motor skills, problem solving, and spatial thinking. They also help students turn abstract ideas into something they can hold and test.
Red Mountain Bricks already uses that approach in our store. Brick Bunch is our regular children’s class. It is fun and entertaining, with guided builds and creative play. Brick Explorers Academy is our homeschool program. It covers similar building skills, but with a stronger educational focus. Several of these classes use official LEGO Education sets, so students work with tools designed for real classroom learning.
Additionally, Katy, one of our owners, is a Utah licensed professional in art education. Additionally, she has 20 years of experience teaching art. That background shapes how we plan each class. Lessons have clear goals and age-appropriate challenges. Students follow a guided build when needed, then use those skills to invent their own designs.
Red Mountain Bricks is an authorized vendor for the Utah Fits All Scholarship and the Children First Education Fund. Qualifying families can use scholarship funds for our classes.
We can also support teachers, homeschool groups, and schools. We help plan lessons, supply bricks and Education sets, and host special classes or events at the store. Our team participates in school STEM and STEAM events. Possible themes include habitats, simple machines, mosaics, stop-motion projects, or a shared classroom city. Share the grade level and learning goal, and we will design a build that fits.
